Special Exposure Wednesday

Ashlea's physio at the kids hospital arranged for these hand and knee pads to be made for her so that she can crawl around on the concrete in our backyard.

We tried them out this afternoon.  Lets just say she was not a huge fan...

Once the hand pads were removed she calmed down and decided to explore a little...

Her hands didn't seem to sustain any damage while crawling on the concrete, so I guess we'll try it again another day!

Don't forget to check out all the other Special Exposure Wednesday photos here.

What a neat idea to use the pads. She really doesn't look happy about it (although she does look adorable even when crying). Hopefully she will get used to them over time.

Maybe you just leave the hand ones off? Glad she did get to explore a bit!

She's even beautiful when she's crying!

Archer always preferred crawling on the concrete outside, rather than the grass! The pads are a great idea!

Aaaww...poor Ashlea...she does not look happy at all in that first picture! At least she tolerated the knee pads and was able to crawl around! Hopefully she'll get used to them :)
