Update

Things have improved a bit since this morning. Murray is more stable on the ventilator. Still a long road ahead though.

Ashlea not too bad - a bit overloaded with fluid but they are managing that closely.

Thank you again for posting these updates Alison!

It really is a scary emotional rollercoaster ride - but we are all here riding it with you...

...and holding our collective breaths waiting for the next bit of news.

I'm so glad this latest instalment is slightly more positive.

(FWIW, my little 7 kg Molly was 9 kg about 48 hours after the accident - so yes, 2000g fluid overload - and they managed to sort it out ok.)

Insist they call in the endocrinologist if you're concerned about Ashlea's fluid. Trust your instinct.

With you in spirit, Susan xx

Alison, I have been thinking of all non-stop. I hope that tonight is a night full of continued improvement for both Ashlea and Murray and that you're able to get at least a little sleep. Sending you love x
