Jan 6: Herding Cats...

Today is the first day Ashlea didn't use her wheelchair at church.  Then to be really adventurous we stopped at the shops on the way home and I let her walk some more.

Oh my.

It was like herding cats around the shopping centre - complete with me calling out in the sort of high pitched sing-song tone you'd use to call a cat:

Come on.

This way.

Here Ashlea!

Come! Come on!

It is not possible for us to be inconspicuous so if you see us at the shops feel free to come up and say hi!  Ashlea will try hard not to run over your toes but nothing is guaranteed!

How beautiful! I always feel part of some kind of circus taking three kids out, it's never compact they all seem to spread out and get attention! Great walking Ashlea xx

Hahahaha! I know exactly what you mean! The first time I took MM out in her walker it was the same. Her sticks have slowed the mischief!!
How amazing is Ashlea doing. One super proud cyber Aunty here!!!

That is a beautiful photo! It is very special for Ashlea to have her freedom to explore. Everyone else just needs to step back and give her room- or they get the bruised toes they deserve!!!
