What Ashlea Did Next...

Tonight Murray was sitting at the table eating his dinner when he saw a little blonde head walk past him.  He was forced to do a double take when he realised it was Ashlea.

Until now we have always helped her to stand up and get started with her walking.  This is a whole new development and means I will have to have eyes in the back of my head to watch her and make sure she is safe.

For those who are new to the Ashlea story this is nothing short of amazing.  AMAZING.

God is good.

PS Sometimes videos don't come through in the emailed version so here is the direct link.

PPS Yes that is a bath in my lounge room.

wow - that is pretty cool. Rates up there with another friend's video of her little boy with CP running in the 200m face at the school athletics carnival.
Exciting but challenging for you....

wow, how amazing. Love the girls being encouraging in the background. She certainly didn't want to slow down.

She seems to have that 'take-off' strategy sorted. Looks like there are more 'television table ready-set-go' events to come! from Fay

Wow! Just wow! I have only recently (i.e. in the last week) spent time properly reading your blog. Previously my only contact with it was via a Facebook friend. But now I am fully caught up, having read the whole thing from the very beginning. And this video of Ashlea walking is incredibly moving. In the space of a week I have seen Ashlea and Audrey in the NICU, and all the milestones since then, but this, THIS is truly mindblowing. To paraphrase a book that may be familiar to you: This is the work of the LORD. Thanks be to God.
