|Running her race|
739. A sports carnival win for Ashlea. In kindy she competed using her manual wheelchair. Last year she competed using her walking frame. This year she competed independently. I think she came last but it was still such a huge win! I don't know how we're going to top that next year? She might have to learn how to fly;
740. Emma earning her pen license at school today. Generally Emma's handwriting looks like a chicken scratched it's feet in the dirt and then walked across her page. She decided she wanted that pen license so has been trying really hard to write neatly the last few days. It has meant she hasn't actually completed any of her school work due to the extra time required for neat hand writing but she was determined. Apparently pen licenses can't be revoked at our school which is just as well as she already told me her writing will probably go back to chicken scratchings tomorrow...;
741. Lovely spontaneous outdoor play by my girls this afternoon.
Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
